The Campaign to End AIDS created AIDSVote in order to educate candidates for public office and voters about the crucial role that elected officials play in ending the AIDS epidemic domestically and globally. The tools to end AIDS exist. What we need is the political will! AIDSVote believes that if elected officials commit to five basic principles regarding treatment, prevention, housing, research and respect, we can end the epidemic worldwide, sooner rather than later.

Activist Toolkit

Without pressure from people living with HIV/AIDS and their supporters, elected officials will never take the steps necessary to end AIDS. To help you apply this pressure, AIDSVote empowers you with an activist toolkit. The kit includes how-to guides for meeting with candidates, sending out AIDSVote questionnaires, mounting voter registration drives, as well as downloadable graphics and posters and much, much more.
