What is C2EA and what do we do?

The Campaign to End AIDS (C2EA) is a diverse, exciting coalition of people living with HIV & AIDS, their advocates and their loved ones. Together, we're demanding that our leaders exert the political will to stop the epidemic, in the U.S. and abroad, once and for all.

National HIV Testing Day (NHTD), June 27, is an annual observance to promote HIV testing. The National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA) founded the day in 1995 and continues to be the lead for this observance.

This year National HIV Testing Day falls between two major dates:

June 5, 2011 – 30 years since the CDC’s Morbidity & Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) reported the first cases of AIDS;
July 13, 2011 – the one year anniversary of the release of the National HIV & AIDS Strategy.
