What is C2EA and what do we do?

The Campaign to End AIDS (C2EA) is a diverse, exciting coalition of people living with HIV & AIDS, their advocates and their loved ones. Together, we're demanding that our leaders exert the political will to stop the epidemic, in the U.S. and abroad, once and for all.

Join Team Housing Works for an amazing five-day trip to beautiful Costa Rica to run the Tamarindo Beach Half-Marathon on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Proceeds support Housing Works in the fight to end AIDS and homelessness.

The minimum required amount to run with our charity team in this race is $1,000 – you may:

  • PAY IT – Pay $1,000 yourself (a partially tax-deductible charitable donation)
  • or
  • RAISE IT – Raise $1,000 by paying a $50 registration fee and fundraising for $950 (or more!)

Raising money is easy – just create a FirstGiving fundraising page!

No matter which option you choose, you get:

  • Four nights (Sep 20-24) at the ocean-front Tamarindo Diria Hotel
  • Comprehensive training and coaching leading up to the race
  • Full team program, including meetings, social gatherings, etc.
  • Fundraising guidance and support
  • Team Housing Works running singlet
  • And much more…all for a lifesaving cause!

In addition to the $1,000 requirement, participants are responsible for their own airfare/travel costs, race entry fees, and any other expenses. Arrangements can be made for non-runners/additional guests, as well as for extending the duration of your stay.
